14th-16th January 2020, WIWeB Erding (Germany)
Additive Manufacturing (AM) – commonly known as 3D-printing – is a future technology with a huge potential for the armed forces. It allows increasing the overall availability, to reduce transport time and costs and to provide more operational flexibility in missions. The German Bundeswehr Institute for Materials, Fuels and Lubricants (WIWeB) is organising the “European Military Additive Manufacturing Symposium 2020” that will be followed by the “1st EDA Military Capability Workshop on Additive Manufacturing” to be held in 85435, Erding (Germany) on 14th – 16th January 2020.
The symposium is the opportunity for your national military AM experts to exchange experiences, to get in contact with the European AM industry and to lay down the foundation for an European Military AM Community to establish common future work strands. The Symposium will be open for experts from nations, industry, research and science. The EDA workshop will be for national military experts only.
